How do I become an AAR Member? AAR has various health plans suited to both individuals and corporates. Select the health plan of your choice. Call your nearest AAR office who will arrange to come and take you through the application forms and receive payment to activate membership. There is an initial 14 days waiting period for registration for new members. Does AAR membership have a waiting period? Individual membership has an initial 14-day waiting period for outpatient care and a 90 – day waiting period for illness hospitalisations. Corporate membership has no waiting period. Does one have to undergo a medical examination before joining AAR? Mandatory medical exams when joining is applicable for interested applicants of age 45 years and above. However, subject to medical underwriting of the AAR membership application form certain medical exams maybe required prior to joining or acceptance of membership. Can I pay my AAR membership in installments? AAR offers the most flexible payment plans for membership. AAR offers monthly installments through Direct Debit and AAR Credit Services. |
On 5th October 2011, AAR Uganda staff posed for a group photo with their pink ribbons as a tool for breast cancer awareness worldwide.
AAR Kenya Staff joined other Kenyans in the fight against hunger by participating in the Kenyans for Kenya initiative. The Staff donated a lorry- full of high energy foodstuffs that was given to the Kenya Red Cross Society representative at a handing over ceremony that was held on 18th August, 2011 at George Williamson House.
On August 14, 2011, AAR Uganda’s Bugolobi Clinic staff organized a Medical Camp at Tuskys Supermarket, Kintintale where they carried out free BMI, Blood Sugar and Blood Pressure Tests. There was also a Nutritionist who gave important nutrition tips to those who visited the tent. The turn out was overwhelming.
